Terms and Conditions

Judging will take place at the end of September 2017 by Tom Hammick, Matilda Temperley, David Worthington, John Makepeace and Harriet Wallace Jones. The work will be presented to them anonymously. Selected artists from each category will be invited to exhibit a selection of work alongside work by the judges at Bridport Arts Centre, South St, Bridport from 4th November to 2nd December 2017. Art work will need to be delivered to the Bridport Art Centre on Monday October 30th. Works will be transported and insured at the risk of the individual exhibitors. All entrants will be invited to an awards ceremony on Friday 3rd November.

The Marshwood Arts Awards reserve the right to refuse any piece of work for any reason. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Artists entering this award agree to make a body of their work available for exhibition in Bridport Art Centre in November and December 2017. The work will be for sale unless otherwise agreed and a gallery commission of 35% will be charged on sales.
